This is a gorgeous, beautifully made 1984 YSL black wool double breasted jacket. Yves Saint Laurent revolutionized women's fashion with his elevated translation of menswear. This slightly cropped vintage YSL jacket is a great example of his ability to incorporate androgynous elements into women's fashion while respecting the female form.

We have documented this jacket in brown on the YSL Fall/Winter 1984/85 runway.

This versatile jacket has built in shoulder pads for structure and is fully lined. There are round black buttons, 2 Shallow front slit pockets and 1 slit pocket on the left breast. Labeled Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris Made in France. Fits a size M/L.
